Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival At Porbandar

Arrive at Porbandar and transfer to hotel. In the evening, sightseeing of Kirti Mandir. It was the house and the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi and now a museum. There are 17 rooms and three storeys are there in this house. Visit the local bazaar. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Porbandar To Rajkot

After breakfast drive to Rajkot, arrive at Rajkot and check in at hotel. In the evening, you will visit Kaba Gandhi No Delo. Mahatma Gandhi spent the early days of his life here. You can see the exhibition of Gandhi's items here. This will be followed by a visit to Rajkumar College. Mahatma Gandhi completed his secondary education from this school. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Rajkot To Bhavnagar

After breakfast drive to Bhavnagar. First and foremost, you will visit Gandhi Smriti, an institution built in memory of Mahatma Gandhi. It contains a library, a museum and galleries of photograph depicting Gandhiji's life. This will be followed by a visit to Takhteshwar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, in the evening. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Bhavnagar To Ahmedabad

After breakfast drive to Ahmedabad. After noon Visit the Gandhi Ashram - On a quiet peaceful stretch of the Sabarmati River, Mahatma Gandhi set up a simple retreat in 1915. Founded by Mahatma Gandhi, this was his Satyagrah Ashram and for many years it was the nerve centre of India's freedom movement. The ashram now contains a memorial center and a library display. It was from here, in 1930, that Mahatma began his famous Dandi March to the sea to protest against the Salt Tax imposed by the British. Hridaya Kunj, the simple cottage where he lived, is now a national monument and preserved as it was during the Mahatma's life-time. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5: Departure From Ahmedabad

  • After breakfast check out from hotel. Morning visit the Hathee Singh Jain Temple founded by Hathee Singh, Juma Mosque, Sidi Saiyed Mosque, Shreyas Folk and Art Museum.
  • Evening departure to Airport. Drive to Airport to board flight for your next destination.

  • The rates are not valid from 20th October to 05th November 2014 and 20th Dec to 05th January 2015.
  • Check-In time is 1400 hrs & Check-out time 1200 NOON at all hotels.
  • Above mentioned rates are not applicable from 14.08.2014 TO 19.8.2014 (JANMASHTAMI, 15.10.2014 TO 30.10.2014(DIWALI), & 21.12.2014 TO 05.01.2015 (CHRISTMAS & New Year)
  • Sasangir National Park will be closed from 15th June to 15th October every year
  • We would like to inform that online booking for Gir Safari Permit have started. Guest’s can apply directly, it will require their id proof for details to be filled. We request our clients to apply online at the earliest on – www.girlion.in
  • Kindly note only 50% quota will be issued online and rest 50% will be issued on the current date, hence if any guest is unsucessful in getting permit online they will have to get in queue on the actual date of safari.
  • In case on any amendment in local Government taxes, or any fuel hike, we reserve the right to adjust the tour price accordingly.
