Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival At Cochin & Proceed To Thekkady
Welcome at Cochin Airport & proceed to Thekkady. Thekkady is considered as a heaven for natural spices. The Periyar forests of Thekkady is one of the finest wildlife reserves in India. Periyar encompasses 777 sq km & a 26-sq-km artificial lake. Check in at hotel & later out for sightseeing to visit the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary (at extra cost), It is home to herds of wild Elephants, Sambar, Tigers, Gaur, Lion-tailed Macaques, Nilgiri Langurs & more. The place can sometimes feel a bit like Disneyland-in-the-Ghats, but its mountain scenery & jungle walks make for an enjoyable visit. Evening enjoy the boat cruise in the lake to spot wild animals. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 2: Thekkady To Alleppey
After breakfast, check out from hotel & proceed to Alleppey which has an immense natural beauty with a large network of inland canals earning it the sobriquet "Venice of the east” & it is famous for backwater cruising & boat race. On arrival check into your Houseboat & cruise through the narrow canal amidst the Paddy Fields, Coconut Lagoons & Coir Villages which offers panoramic sights one can never forget. This is one of Kerala’s most mesmerizingly beautiful & relaxing experiences. Overnight stay at houseboat.
Day 3: Alleppey To Kanyakumari
Morning after breakfast check out from house boat and proceed to Kanyakumari, arriving before sunset. The sunset at the confluence of Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea is a delight to witness. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kanyakumari.
Day 4: Departure From Kanyakumari
The Southernmost end of Tamil Nadu, the land's end of India or the point where three seas meet. Cape Camorin of Kanyakumari is at its best during Chitra Pournima (full moon day in April) when sun and moon are face to face at the same horizon at the confluence point of Bay of Bengal, Indian Ocean and Arabian Sea. Proceed to Trivandrum to catch your flight back home.
