Upon your meet and greet with our representative at Bagdogra Airport or at NJP Railway Station, a transfer will be arranged to the peaceful hill station of Gangtok (130 Km/5 hrs.) Check-in at your hotel in this beautiful destination and start to get familiar with your surroundings. In the evening, set out on a shopping spree along the roads of the main market area M.G Marg. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

• After breakfast, prepare for a full-day excursion to the glacial Tsomgo Lake (12,310 feet), and the temple of Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (a very holy site for all) - at a short distance of only 40 km from Gangtok. Home to the Brahmini ducks and many migratory birds, the 1-kilometer-long lake is oval-shaped and nearly 50 feet deep. The surface reflects different colors with the change of seasons and is revered by the local Sikkimese folk. Spend the evening in Gangtok doing some recreational activities such as shopping and having a delicious local dinner. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

• NOTE: In case of a Land slide or any reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provide alternate sightseeing. NRI, OCI, PIO Card holders & Foreign nationals are not allowed to visit Baba Mandir & Nathula Pass. They are allowed to visit Tsomgo Lake, with a valid permit.

• After a hearty breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Gangtok. Begin with the stunning Tashi Viewpoint, followed by visits to Ganesh Tok and Hanuman Tok, both offering breathtaking panoramic views. Continue to the serene Rumtek Monastery, the impressive Jhakri Waterfall, and the sacred Do-rul Chhorten. Dive into the local culture with visits to the Research Institute of Tibetology, the Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom, and the colorful Flower Show. If these spots are closed due to holidays, alternative visits to Bakthang Waterfalls, Nam Nang Viewpoint, and Enchey Monastery will be arranged. After a day filled with exploration, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

• After your breakfast prepare for your transfer to Darjeeling (7100 ft / 115 km / 4-5 hrs) and say good bye to Gangtok. Evening free for leisure in Darjeeling. Overnight at Hotel.

• Spend your day today witnessing a magnificent sunrise over the Himalayas and exploring local tourist attractions. To watch the blaze of rapidly changing colors of the snow peaks as the sun strikes, set out early in the morning, before dawn (4 am), to the highest point in Darjeeling Tiger Hill (2590 m) - for views of a breathtaking sunrise and its reflection rays over the Kanchenjunga Ranges and other impressive Himalayan peaks. On the way back to your hotel, visit Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery. Expected arrival time at hotel: 7 am.
• After freshening up and a hearty breakfast at your hotel, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday), Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Darjeeling Ropeway Ride (Ticket cost not included & will be approx INR 180.00 per person), Tenzing - Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre (closed on Sundays), Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda, and panoramic view of Tea Estate. End your lovely city tour day with an overnight stay at a hotel in Darjeeling.

• After you have finished your breakfast, a transfer will be arranged to Bagdogra Airport/ NJP Railway Station from the hotel (distance from Darjeeling to Bagdogra Airport: 110 km/3 hrs). Your tour in Darjeeling has ended. Let the memories begin!
