Darjeeling is thought to be derived from the word Dorjeeling, which literally means 'the place of Dorjee' the majestic thunderbolt.Darjeeling grew in prominence during the mid 19th century when, because of its climate, the British first established a hill station there after leasing it from the Chogyal of Sikkim and later discovered that the area was particularly well suited for tea plantations.

Day 3: Darjeeling To Pelling
After breakfast, transfer to Pelling excursion covers Rimbi Waterfalls, Rimbi Hydel project,Khecheopalri Lake and Kanchenjunga Falls. Back to Hotel for lunch. After you cover Pemayangtse Monastery, Changay Falls).Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4: Pelling To Gangtok
After breakfast transfer to Gangtok. Check in hotel evening free at leisure. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 5: Tsongmo Excursion
Morning proceed for an excursion to Tsongmo lake and Baba Mandir. Evening back to Gangtok. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6: Departure To New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport
