Day-wise Itinerary
ExpandDay 1: Arrival In Kochi (Cochin)
Airport welcome by Flashpacking INDIA representative and transfer to Fort Kochi. Stay overnight in a hotel.
Day 2: Kochi - Munnar [5 Hours Drive]
After breakfast drive to Munnar passing while your eyes gaze at amazing landscapes. Stroll in town, commercial centre and highest tea plantations in the world. Stay overnight in a Tree House.
Day 3: Munnar: Eravikulam National Park And Plantations
A day dedicated to exploring Eravikulam National Park as well tea and coffee plantations. Stay overnight in a Tree House.
Day 4: Munnar - Elephant Valley (Kodaikanal) [4 Hours Drive]
We continue our excursion to an area in the wilderness that borders paradisiacal, named Elephant Valley that boasts an eco-lodge surrounded by jungle, coffee plantations, waterfalls, traditional villages and wild animals, the most famous being the elephant. Stay overnight in an Eco Lodge.
Day 5: Elephant Valley (Kodaikanal) - Periyar [4 Hours Drive]
We drive through the mountainous region of the Western Ghats to the Periyar National Park. Explore the park and spend the night in a Tree House.
Day 6: Periyar - Backwaters [3 Hours Drive]
After breakfast head along the shore of Lake Vembanad, located in the middle of Palai Plain with its hypnotizing rice paddies and coconut trees in plain view and pleasant villages. Stay overnight in a Cottage.
Day 7: Houseboat
After breakfast check in a houseboat, welcomed by the crew. Houseboat will be navigating through the canals, lagoons, and lakes. On the banks, you will come across old houses made out of teak, mahogany and redwood as well as villages filled with hibiscus and bougainvilleas, rice paddies that are green and shimmering. Stay overnight in Houseboat.
Day 8: Backwaters - Marari Beach [1 Hour Drive]
Drive to one of the most beautiful beaches on the Malabar coast. Check in to and night in hotel. Stay overnight in the beach/garden cottage.
Day 9: Marari Beach
Days of relaxation. Stay overnight in the beach/garden cottage.
Day 10: Malabar Coast - Cochin Airport [1 Hour Drive]
Transfer to the Kochi airport depending on the time of your international flight.
