One of the ideal places to stay for travelers on a tight budget is the Man Lai Wah Hostel (Wenlihua jiudian) on Lamma Island. This hotel enjoys a good location and faces you as soon as you step down from the ferry. Lamma Island is known mainly for its seafood restaurants but it also deserves more press for its lush scenery. It has good beaches, beautiful lakes and some excellent pubs. Man Lai Wah is one of the best accommodation options if you are visiting the island. All rooms in the hostel while fairly standard and basic, do have air conditioning and an attached bath. If you want to get away from the hub of the city for a few days, this is a very reasonable place to stay on a beautiful island.
