The 150 years old Heritage Haveli (Mansion) is located in Gali Chowk Shah Mubarak, Kuncha Pati Ram, Sitaram Bazar, in the Walled City of Delhi historically known as “Shahjahanabad”. Depicting indigenous and traditional residential architecture, the Haveli is constructed on a plot of 325 sq yards. It has two floors and a typical traditional layout plan with an open courtyard. Whereas the ground floor dates to 1860s, the late Mughal period, the first floor was constructed around 1930s, the late British period. The ground floor has eight small rooms with an open courtyard and two covered pavilions. The first floor has three rooms and two attached store-rooms. The Mughal pillars and arches adorn the ground floor while first floor has straight columns. The Haveli was earlier occupied by a Kashmiri family like most of the nearby havelis of Kashmiri families.
