BackHome is a boutique backpackers hostel located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s bustling financial and historical district. Six colonial-era shophouses have been lovingly restored into spacious, contemporary accommodation, centered around a light-filled courtyard. With renovations that took up to two years, our building design has been awarded the Malaysian Architecture Association’s PAM Award for “Best Adaptive Re-use”.BackHome has been described as a 5-star backpacking experience. Our premium prices hasn’t prevented the hostel from being consistently over 80% full. Most guest reviews single out our outstanding customer service – delivered by a team of young, passionate locals.
